About Us

Our focus in on firearms training and ND Conceal Carry License. Alanna offers a variety of ladies on instruction classes. Troy can be reached for guys who want individual and small group instruction. We both teach ND CWL testing and Troy offers ND LEOSA shooting qualification.

We offer hands-on learning with dry fire and live fire training options. Our training is not about empowering women, but building confidence and conquering fear. We start everyone off with an Introduction to Firearms Class – Safety and Fundamentals, regardless of experience. Follow up lessons are at the pace of the student. We offer flexible schedules and regularly scheduled classes.

The heart of Guns and Grace is to help women overcome their fears. The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear. The Lord will help us overcome fear. Grace is an amazing gift that conquers many fears. There have been women that have been scared of firearms for 50 years and then love the big ones before leaving the range after a day with us. Over the years we have met amazing women through our training and made new friends along the way.

A lot of prayer goes into Guns and Grace. One of the prayers has been about creating a Guns and Grace ministry event. An event for women combining a Bible lesson on spiritual warfare and the power of grace. If you or your church group would be interested in hosting an event, for more information women’s ministry event. With God all things are possible.

Owners and Instructors

Alanna is the founder and lead instructor of Guns and Grace. However, I could not have done this without the support of my husband, Troy. He has stood by me and encouraged me every year. I focus on ladies-only training out of respect for my Lord and my husband. Troy is an NRA instructor, ND CWL Test Administrator and ND LEOSA testing. Troy enjoys teaching others how to safely and properly shoot when his schedule allows. We also enjoy doing couples lessons – a night out at the range with instructors. We also do gun shows across ND & SD, offering good-quality training systems and recommended training gear.

The business and women’s ministry began with taking on the task of an annual ladies event at local range. Every event filled up quickly and with a waiting list. Guns and Grace began as an expansion to be able to offer training to more women across the area with a flexible schedule. God opened the doors to have classes and instruct at a couple other nearby ranges Zap Sportsman’s Club and Belfield Sportsman’s Club. We are so grateful for the willingness of the boards to allow us to teach women and help others overcome their fears of firearms.

God has amazed me every year with ladies that He has brought alongside me. Several ladies have helped me, volunteered over the years, THANK YOU – TO ALL OF YOU! One of these ladies is an amazing Godly woman who is now an instructor with Guns and Grace, Dina Klein. She has been an encourager as Guns and Grace went through changes. Unfortunately, she has had to step away from helping out for a season.

“Conquer fear with understanding and the power of grace on the firing line.”

Ministry – What we believe:
Our non-denominational ministry is guided by Scripture, the written Word of God, which serves as our ultimate authority. We believe that Scripture alone holds authority for the faith and practice of every born-again Christian.

The Bible is sufficient because it is complete and true.

Being a Christian transcends merely aligning with a specific religion or endorsing a particular value system. It means embracing the Bible’s teachings about God, humanity, and salvation. Consider these biblical truths:

The scriptural understanding of doctrine encompasses the entire gospel message—its teachings on God, salvation, sin, and righteousness—and the correct comprehension and proclamation of sound doctrine are essential for life.
